Consultation

The MeToo! Movement created a platform for those who were once afraid to speak up about sexual misconduct to be heard. While concerning for many businesses, addressing reports of sexual misconduct presents an opportunity for organizations to fully examine the structures and culture that allowed for the misconduct and begin to make changes. Ladder Consulting works with organizations to examine their processes, policies, and cultural climate to assess what changes would create the best results.

Policy Review

While employers understand the value of a strong employee policy, many have not considered how their policies do not fully meet the needs of employees who may be experiencing sexual harassment, sexual violence or other gender-based misconduct. Ladder Consulting reviews organizational policies and procedures – employee handbooks and other investigation methods - to ensure the most trauma-informed practices are used to encourage reporting of gender-based misconduct, understand at-risk populations within the organization, assess training curriculums, and provide a fair and consistent process for complaints.

Training

Ladder Consulting provides training to key staff regarding the types and prevalence of sexual misconduct, establishing reporting protocols and investigation techniques for sexual misconduct complaints.
